" Theo Jansen is a Dutch artist with a background in science. For the last 15 years, he has been evolving a series of wind-powered animals, made of plastic tubes. When these constructions are fed by wind, they set into motion and transmute into organic-looking creatures; or beach-animals as Jansen calls them.
Theo Jansen received the Jury's Special Price in the Interactive Artistival 2005".

In several locations, including Cinema Nova, MAP, Mediaruimte, Place Sainte-Catherine and rue de Laeken . The festival not only brings thumping electronic party-fun , but also audiovisual concerts and performances , ' live cinema '-shows, interactive audiovisual installations , lectures and a special dedicated "Cineketje" workshop for kids.

Cimatics has only just reached its third edition this year. In this short time span however, the Brussels festival has become one of Europe's leading events for live audiovisual Arts and VJ-ing".

"London-based artist Kaffe Matthews's Three Crosses of Queensbridge is a symphony for radios and bicycles. Replacing notes written on a musical staff are drawings on a neighbourhood map: providing various itineraries for visitors to follow on bikes, the artist broadcasts an electronic composition over a live radio signal. Cycling around the streets with radios receiving the broadcast, participants become performers and passers-by become accidental audience members".

When the potatoes begin dry out or sprout his disturbing answers will gradually disappear as a sign of fading memory and the text be replaced by heart shaped symbols".

"Tijuana Calling is an online exhibition of five commissioned projects that make use of the Internet to explore various features of the Tijuana/San Diego border region, including cultural tourism, border dentistry, transborder narco-tunnels, vigilante surveillance drones, and the journalistic hype surrounding border crime. Like the inSite_05 Interventions, these projects grew out of a lengthy process of research and investigation. Although all five projects exist online, they adopt a wide range of artistic strategies, from gameplay to tactical literature. Agricola de Cologne holds the position of a creator who is building an Universe of hisown in which most different networking instances are acting. He is creating a specific system, which is based on filtering, associating and linking on different level, starting from his personal view based on specific filters, then by inviting curators, who select artists of their choice, the next filtering and networking level is installed,. The artists who are selected via curating form the next following level. As they may come from different cultural, religious, political and social backgrounds and more than 45 countries on the globe, they are installing a complex filtering system of their own via the artworks and the specific view the art work is based on.
